This arrangement of "O Little Town of Bethlehem" is playable in first position for all instruments and pitched in a singable key for sing-alongs. This was originally written for whole class year 7 singing as another way to remember rhythm notation. The lyrics are not supposed to be taken seriously!
I use this arrangement with my middle school orchestra. It is very flexible. The optional woodwind parts double the string parts and were played by 8th grade (USA) players in their third year of instrumental music.
